Got there to chill - mission accomplished - and I really enjoyed the private bath tube in our room with a panoramic view directed to Bad Gastein. The Staff at The GoldBerg is so warm and welcoming, for sure I'll return to get that service again ...

There is no place better in Austria than Das Goldberg. We visited in early June for our 5th visit to the hotel. While there I had a personal medical emergency and the hotel staff treated my husband and I like family. We had to extend our stay due to my emergency surgery (nothing to do with the hotel or our stay), and they accommodated every need we had. I can't thank them enough for treating us, as well as every guest, like a family member. We will be back again soon.

The best hotel I ever visited, but travel i a lot. Amazing high quality restaurant, tasty and delicious food during the day and amazing dinner. The best and biggest spa. Room and view was amazing. All workers so qualified and friendly. Big thank you, I will come back definitely

One of a kind hotel! Perfect for skiing, spa break and enjoying nature with delicious food. Beautiful location, excellent customer service, great spa facilities - a gem! We can’t wait to return many more times!

Over the past 5 years, we've stayed in this hotel 4 times. Back then, I wrote a 5-star review. Unfortunately, luxury and hospitality somehow made place for arrogance. This winter, we were planning on bringing a <1 year old baby. When I made a booking request, a price of €25 per night was charged for the baby on top of a price of €210 per night per adult. Given that a 3-month old baby doesn't need anything in an hotel, I politely asked for an explanation why they charge this additional amount.Their response? "Please understand that we are not a family hotel". It starts to feel like a rip off. Since just after their renovation, we've seen the price rise with +100% to +€210/night/person but they've reached a point that they are overpriced for what they offer. Let me know if you need any tips for similar hotels in Salzburg/Tirol!
